We are excited to invite you to be a part of the first annual Liam’s Legacy Event, hosted by Olivia’s Bears in partnership with the Lynch Family. This special evening will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Wurlitzer Events. Join us for a night of food, music, auctions, raffles, and community.
This event will honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Liam Lynch, while raising crucial funds for parking relief for hematology/oncology patients and their families at Oishei Children’s Hospital.

The night will feature an open bar, a gourmand display with passed hors d’oeuvres, beer tastings, DJ entertainment by Nicholas Picholas, an auction, raffles, and a picture booth. Tickets will be $100 and will be released soon.
Guests who bring a brand-new pair of pajamas or a LEGO set at the door will receive an extra raffle ticket.
Stay tuned for ticket links and early-bird details!

Did you know that the daily parking rate at Oishei Children’s Hospital is $12? For families with children undergoing cancer treatments on Floor 12, these costs can quickly add up. With hospital stays often lasting weeks or even months, parking fees can become a significant and ongoing financial burden — on top of the emotional and medical challenges they already face.
Liam's Legacy is working to ease that burden by covering parking costs for these families, and we are looking for sponsors who want to make a direct, meaningful impact.

Liam’s Legacy wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our community partners. We’ve created meaningful sponsorship opportunities so businesses and friends can support families directly: from presenting-level visibility to table-level partnerships.
Sponsorship proceeds from this event will provide relief for parking fees for patients and their families on the oncology/hematology floor directly through the Liam's Legacy Fund within The Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation. So that families can focus on care, not costs.

Liam Lynch

Liam Lynch — the beloved son of Matthew and Elizabeth Lynch and cherished brother of Luke — was born on February 26, 2013, in Houston, Texas. He later moved with his family to Wheatfield and became a proud student at Niagara Wheatfield.
The name Liam means “strong-willed,” “warrior,” and “protector” — all qualities that perfectly defined him. With a heart full of compassion and a smile that could light up any room, Liam left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
In 2019, at just six years old, Liam was diagnosed with lymphoma. He faced grueling rounds of chemotherapy with remarkable courage and with unwavering love and prayers from his community.
In May 2022, Liam rang the bell at Roswell — a joyful, hard-won moment of victory. Ten months later his journey took another turn when he was diagnosed with a more aggressive form of leukemia. Once again he met each challenge with bravery, undergoing a bone marrow transplant and reaching remission. In February 2024 he relapsed, and after a relentless fight, Liam passed away on October 12, 2024.
Liam’s life — his kindness, his strength, and his instinct to help others — continues to inspire us. The mission of Liam’s Legacy is twofold: to celebrate the beautiful life Liam lived and to remove a small but meaningful burden for families facing pediatric cancer.
With Liam’s heart and our hands, we can make a real difference.

Can’t join us in person? Support families by donating to Liam’s Legacy to cover hospital parking for pediatric oncology & hematology families at Oishei Children’s Hospital.
